1.What are the advantages of a free Online Hitfactory Membership?

You can present yourself in the "Announcements" Module and in your "Personal Profile" page, upload new documents, song books, chordprogressions and Guitartabs in the corresponding "Documents & Files" Key Folder to share them, upload pictures of your gear and instruments to the corresponding image albums in the "Photos" module, announce and add new entries to the events calendar in the "Events" module, see "who is who" and "what can he or she do" in the "Groups & Roles" module and send messages to all members of a specifique group (guitar, saxophone, bass players, ect.) at once in the "Messages" module or contact them privately to offer your personal recordings or mixing/mastering services.

2.How can I contact a member who did not publish his personal presentation in the "Announcements" section?

Just request your Free Membership. As soon as it is confirmed (by email from admin) you can login your account with your chosen password, access the "Groups and Roles" module, as well as the Member Profile pages, choose your correspondant and then use the "Messages" module to write and send a message to the member of your choice or to all members of a choosen group at once.

3.What can I do if my (soundtrack) Submission has not received what I expected (the missing piece)?

The answers to your Track Refinement Submissions as well as the attached contributions and supplementary and complementary recordings depend on the personal interest that your request may or may not stimulate. Considering the fact that the participation of one or more members of our production team in your personal music production is voluntary we can absolutely not predict the result of your Track Refinement Submissions nor guarantee that you will be satisfied with them.

But even if the refinement advices or supplementary contributions won't come as expected and/or don't get your satisfaction, with your free membership status you always have the choice to contact any musician, producer or sound engineer of our network privately and ask if he or she would agree to do the job as a payed service and how much he or she would request for this.

4. Is it possible to offer my own additional instrument and/or vocal recordings as a Paid Service?

Of cause it is. Just don't forget to mention it in your Personal Presentation (announcement) page and/or Profile Page. You may then be contacted by other members who would like to work with you on a particular project.

5. What is the average price for a additional instrument and/or vocal recording?

We don't interfere in the relationship the members of our network may or may not have amongst each other and their eventually commercial aspect is of cause an essential part of their privacy. But the average price for a command of any single additional Instrument and/or Vocal Recording may vary between 20$ et 120$.

6. How can I pay an additional sound production that has been done for me or be paid if I made it?

This is easily handled and in general processed via Paypal or any other Internet Payment Service Provider. You may even award someone who has completed a soundproduction for you via a Paypal or Ko-fi Donation Button even if he didn't request it.

7.Is there only place for musicians on this website?

Of cause no. We have also well reputated Music Producers, Sound Engineers as well as Webdesigners, Marketing and Promotion Experts amongst our members who could very well be interested in your music production and in helping you succeed.

8.What is the first thing I am adviced to as a new Hitfactory Member Musician?

The first thing we advice you to do as a Online Hitfactory Member is to fill out the personal information on your Profile Page and than to prepare and make a Special Announcement about your musical background, experience, knowledge, skills and eventually services and complete these informations with some photos of the instruments you play and the recording hard and software you use.

9.I have submitted a track refinement request and received a Free Membership Contribution, but I am still not satisfied with it. What can I do?

You may consider to contact another member and expert musician of your choice directly and ask for a Paid Service or just make a New Submission with the same or the meanwhile updated new soundtrack.

10.Why are the instrument albums of the "Photos" module called "Our drums, basses, guitars", etc?

It's mainly to show our intention not only to share our musical knowledge and skills but also our musical instruments and geer in order to get the best out of our (and your) sound production.

For exemple: a member may be looking for a guitar lead solo played by a real gibson guitar, because he likes and favores it's tune. So naturally he will find the owner and possible player of a real gibson guitar in browsing the Instruments Album Folder of the "Photos" module and may want to contact him directly instead of waiting for responses to his Sound Track Finetuning Request that may or may not be arrive as expected.

11.Why is it important to showcase my skills and/or the quality of my sound productions and where can I do it?

Keep in mind that visitors will mainly come here to get some audio production work done for them on the basis of voluntar and free contribution or as a paid service and commission work. In both cases it's important for them to know and evaluate your musical skills in order to know if you are the right person for them to deal with. The more convincing the quality of your showcased audiofiles and production is the easier and faster you will get in contact with them. The best and most appropriate place on this platform for your audioproduction portfolio is the presentation area of your profile page, but you can and should also publish them in a personal announcement, a page that you can edit and publish as you like in the "Announcements" section.

12.Why is it important to integrate my donation link and where can I dot it?

The best way to get paid for your audiorecording and production services is via a personal Donation LInk that you may configure with Paypal, Ko-fi or other Internet payment and service providers. Because donations are taxfree additional income ressources you neither need a commercial account nor a specifique entrepreneur status to declare and to receive them. The best place to integrate your Donation Links is again the presentation area of your profile page and/or a personal announcement page.

What are We & You looking for?

Dear Visitor, you may wonder who we are, why we have made this online platform, how it works and what you can expect us to do for you. So let's respond precisely to these 4 questions.

Who are we?

We are musicians who are ready to share what we have essentially in common, the love for beauty, harmony and and one of their most exalting expressions: musique

Why have we made this website?

We have created this platform to help us and other musicians finetune their recordings and make them ready for production, promotion and distribution.

How does it work?

Our so-called Online HitFactory is organized in the way of a membersite website. But that doesn't mean that you have to be a member to take full advantage of it. His main purpose is to help us know eauch other and contact each other more easily. If you ever want to become and join us you are welcome and free to do so. There are no entree fees and we will never ask you to pay anything for your membership.

Making music is a bit like a puzzle, isn't it? We are trying put the right elements, tunes, harmonies, chords, notes at the right place until we are satisfied with the result and the whole sound image corresponds to what we were looking for. Sometimes we get it fast in order, in time and in tune, sometimes its more difficult. Sometimes only little ingredients and ajustements are missing but we may fail to achieve them if we only relay on ourselves and our limited musical knowledge and skills.

That"s where our purpose and mission comes in. We have gathered and organized ourselves here in order to know and help each other to get the missing pieces of our music in place and to become satisfied with the final outcome and result.

First thing to do in this regard is to know exactly what's missing and after that to know exactly where you can get it. If you have both informations you are close to completion.

You wonder where to submit this piece of musique that is waiting for completion? You submit it entirely or partially in the section of this website that has been created for this purpose and that is called "SUBMISSION" (left menu).

In the first text field of the submission form called "name" you type the name of the title you want to submit as well as your own name, in the second your email adress, in the third called "Template Link", just enter the link to your audio file. This may be a link to a webpage that contains your mp3 audio file, or a direct link to it on your google drive or elsewhere that allows to download it. And finally you enter your main message and tell us what you expect from us.

We then can directly answer - and eventually submit the missing piece(s) - in form of a comment that will display underneath your message.
